When your a caregiver of an elder you may need to act on health care decisions, prescription drugs, or financial decisions at any given time. In order to be able to do that you need to what’s required by law. These decisions fall under the topic of Elder Law. These areas include but are not limited to: Living Will, Health Care Surrogate, Durable Power of Attorney, and Guardianship.

In this show Sarah R. Sullivan a senior staff attorney with Jacksonville Area Legal Aid not only explains these areas but gives scenarios why these directives are needed for a caregiver.
